Each destination is included only after a comprehensive process of research, documentation and evaluation conducted by the Honorary Committee of the Anthology of Greek Gastronomy of Action in Greece, ensuring the authenticity, credibility and quality of the information presented.

World Gastronomic Destinations

Since 2015, Action in Greece, through the Anthology of Greek Gastronomy, has conducted the systematic research, evaluation and documentation of Greece's gastronomic destinations.

The designation of a World Gastronomic Destination is granted exclusively following an extensive assessment carried out in accordance with the institution's Statutes and rigorous evaluation criteria. The process examines each destination's gastronomic identity, cultural heritage, quality of local products, authenticity of traditions, sustainability and overall contribution to the promotion of Greek gastronomy.

The first destinations designated by Action in Greece were the subject of comprehensive missions that included in-depth journalistic research, professional photography, documentary filmmaking and the promotion of their gastronomic, cultural and tourism identity. In the years that followed, the institution focused exclusively on the gastronomic evaluation and designation of additional destinations.

Παγκoσμιοι Γαστρονομικοι Προορισμοι

Από το 2015, το Action in Greece, μέσω του Ανθολογίου της Ελληνικής Γαστρονομίας, διεξάγει συστηματική έρευνα, αξιολόγηση και τεκμηρίωση των γαστρονομικών προορισμών της Ελλάδας.

Η ανακήρυξη ενός τόπου ως Παγκόσμιου Γαστρονομικού Προορισμού απονέμεται αποκλειστικά έπειτα από εκτενή μελέτη, σύμφωνα με το καταστατικό και τα αυστηρά κριτήρια αξιολόγησης του θεσμού. Η διαδικασία εξετάζει τη γαστρονομική ταυτότητα, την πολιτιστική κληρονομιά, την ποιότητα των τοπικών προϊόντων, την αυθεντικότητα των παραδόσεων, τη βιωσιμότητα και τη συνολική συμβολή κάθε προορισμού στην προβολή της ελληνικής γαστρονομίας.

Οι πρώτοι προορισμοί που ανακηρύχθηκαν από το Action in Greece αποτέλεσαν ολοκληρωμένες αποστολές με εκτενή δημοσιογραφική έρευνα, φωτογραφική και κινηματογραφική τεκμηρίωση, καθώς και συνολική ανάδειξη της γαστρονομικής, πολιτιστικής και τουριστικής τους ταυτότητας. Στη συνέχεια, ο θεσμός επικεντρώθηκε αποκλειστικά στη γαστρονομική αξιολόγηση και ανακήρυξη νέων προορισμών.
